1. Who we are
FindAstra is operated by Elyass Tarik, an individual sole trader based in Morocco (referred to here as "we", "us", and "our"). You can reach us at support@findastra.com.
2. Definitions
- Plugin means the FindAstra WordPress / WooCommerce plugin, including all updates and related assets we provide.
- Site means the marketing website at findastra.com and any subdomains.
- You means the person or entity purchasing or using the Plugin or browsing the Site.
- Order means a paid purchase of a FindAstra license through Freemius.
3. Who can place an order
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence. If you're buying on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
4. Payment and merchant of record
Orders are processed by Freemius Inc., our payment processor and merchant of record. Freemius collects payment, calculates and remits sales tax and VAT where applicable, issues invoices, screens for fraud, and handles chargebacks. When you check out, you also agree to Freemius's buyer terms, which appear at the checkout step.
Prices are listed in US dollars unless your local currency is shown at checkout. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, with any taxes added on top where Freemius is required to collect them.
5. The license you get
Buying FindAstra grants you a license to install and use the Plugin under the terms set out in the License Agreement. The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and tied to the number of sites you bought it for. 6. Support
Every license includes 6 months of email support from the date of purchase. After 6 months, support continues on a best-effort basis through the community forum, and the Plugin keeps receiving updates indefinitely.
Support is:
- provided in English, by email, during normal business hours;
- available only to the original license holder;
- limited to questions about the Plugin itself and its documented features.
We do not provide custom development, theme conflicts caused by other plugins outside our control, or guidance on AI engine tuning beyond what's in the docs.
7. Updates
Every license includes lifetime updates. As long as we maintain the Plugin, you get every new release at no additional cost. We reserve the right to change the update cadence, deprecate features, or discontinue the Plugin with reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Plugin, your installed copies continue to function but will no longer receive new versions.
8. Refunds
We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. The full details, including how to request one, live on the refund policy page.
9. Acceptable use
By placing an order or using the Plugin or Site you agree not to:
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense FindAstra to anyone else;
- share your license key publicly or use it on more sites than your license covers;
- remove, alter, or hide the FindAstra branding required by the license;
- use the Plugin to violate any law, attack other people's sites, or transmit malicious code;
- scrape, copy, or republish the Site's content without permission.
10. Privacy
We collect and use personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, that page also explains the rights you have over your data and how to exercise them.
11. Intellectual property
The Plugin's PHP code is licensed under the GPL, in line with WordPress's licensing requirements. Everything else (the FindAstra name and branding, the marketing site, the documentation, screenshots, design assets, marketing copy, and the license key system) is our property and remains so. Your purchase grants you the rights set out in the License Agreement and nothing more.
12. Warranty disclaimer
We've tested FindAstra carefully and we use it ourselves. But software is software, and we can't promise it will be perfect for every store. The Plugin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of search results, or non-infringement. Search relevance depends on your product catalog and on which AI engine you choose.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Plugin, the Site, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for your FindAstra license in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits in full. Where that's the case, the limits apply to the maximum extent the law allows.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against any third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Plugin, your breach of these terms, or content you publish that violates someone else's rights.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these terms or the License Agreement, share your key publicly, file a chargeback without first contacting us, or use the Plugin to harm others. If we terminate for breach, you don't get a refund and you must stop using the Plugin and remove it from any site you control.
You can stop using the Plugin at any time. That doesn't entitle you to a refund outside the 30-day window described in our refund policy.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved by good-faith discussion will be brought before the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer in your country of residence where local law gives you stronger protections.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Site and dated at the top of this page. The version in effect on your purchase date governs your order; ongoing use of the Plugin after a change means you accept the updated version going forward.
18. Miscellaneous
These terms, the License Agreement, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy together form the entire agreement between you and us regarding FindAstra. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right doesn't waive it.
